West Coast Christian School opened its doors in January 1993 with 17 students. Since then the school has grown to accommodate approximately 140 children from Kindergarten to Grade 12. It is a part of West Coast Christian Fellowship and is a resource to families in the local community in Vancouver, and others from across the Lower Mainland. The hardest task most of us ever face is raising our children in the ‘fear and admonition of the Lord’ (Ephesians 6:2). Each day we are confronted with our own inadequacies and the pull of forces opposed to our Christian faith. We have an enormous responsibility as parents to ensure that every influence upon our children helps them fulfill God’s plan for their lives. This is why education is so important. At WCCS, we take this responsibility seriously. We desire to be a place where teachers and parents, supported by the wider church community, work together to nurture and train our children in their personal walk with Jesus Christ, in their understanding of God’s world, and in their God given gifts and talents.
